Deadline: 9 January 2026, h. 1:00 pm CET
The University of Bologna has launched the UnaBo Call for Proposals, inviting lecturers and researchers to develop collaborative projects in partnership with universities of the Una Europa Alliance.
This new internal initiative aims to support small-scale “seed projects” in teaching, research and third mission activities, designed to strengthen transnational cooperation and to pave the way for larger joint initiatives within the Alliance.
Discussions with Departments and Una Europa delegates have highlighted a strong interest among UNIBO lecturers in building structured collaborations with partner universities.
Following the 2024 call for incoming and outgoing staff mobility, this initiative takes a step further: it provides direct financial support for academic projects that can act as catalysts for future European or international funding.
The call aims to foster innovative, interdisciplinary collaborations, enhance visibility of the University of Bologna within Una Europa, and increase the engagement of academic staff in the Alliance’s activities.
Call for proposals for UniBo lecturers and researchers
UniBo academics (permanent or fixed-term) can apply to coordinate pilot projects in partnership with at least two Una Europa universities.
Funding: up to €12,000 per project (lump sum, 7 projects total).
