Una Europa invites researchers from it's eleven partner universities with an interest in sustainability and climate protection to meet German businesses and business experts and develop collaborations in a new digital networking event: the first edition of Una Europa StartScience.
Una Europa StartScience
A combination of 'start-up' and 'science', Una Europa StartScience aims to connect researchers with the local ecosystems of Una Europa partner universities to facilitate the development of public-private partnerships. Una Europa researchers can network in an interdisciplinary peer context and present their work to local stakeholders such as companies, NGOs and start-ups.
After our StartScience session, interested parties will have the opportunity to contact you for bilateral meetings facilitated by the online platform dedicated to Berlin Transfer Week.
Berlin Transfer Week, which will take place from 21 to 24 November 2023, will offer a week of digital networking, will take place entirely online and will be free of charge for all participants.
The aim of the event is to intensify the exchange and facilitate the transfer between innovative companies and scientists with a focus on the Berlin metropolitan region.
How to participate?
To apply and participate in Una Europa's StartScience session at Berlin Transfer Week on 21 November from 14:00 to 15:00 CET, please send your pitch (PowerPoint or Word document) by email to Marie-Julie Jacquemot (marie-julie.jacquemot@fu-berlin.de) by 1 October.
At the end of October, a preparatory meeting will be organised for all selected candidates. You will then be allocated an eight-minute slot during our pitching session to present your joint project idea - individually or in collaboration with other Una Europa researchers.
