Virtual Mobility for Master's Students in Data Science and AI

As part of our commitment to fostering international learning experiences, the University of Bologna is proud to participate in the Una Europa Module Exchange in the field of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DSAI). This virtual mobility programme allows students enrolled in selected Master’s degrees to attend online modules offered by partner universities in the Una Europa alliance.

What is the Module Exchange?

The Module Exchange is a flexible and fully online academic opportunity that enables you to explore specialised topics not currently available at your home university. You’ll join an international cohort of students and benefit from a truly European learning experience, without leaving your current study track at the University of Bologna.

How does it work?

  • 13 modules are available, offered by four partner universities (including Unibo).
  • You may choose to follow one or more modules, all delivered online.
  • Once you successfully complete a module, you will be awarded ECTS credits, which can be officially recognised as part of your study programme at Unibo (subject to eligibility – see below).

 Who is eligible?

The programme is open to students enrolled in selected Master's programmes at the University of Bologna listed in the call for applications published here.

Cost

Participation in the Module Exchange is completely free. You will remain enrolled at the University of Bologna and pay only your regular tuition fees.

Applications  closed on 25 June 2025 at 13:00 CEST.

Information for incoming students A.Y. 2025/26 

Incoming students selected for a virtual mobility at the University of Bologna by their home institution within the A.Y. 2025/26 will be reached out by the Department of Statistics (stat.education) in July 2025  to get all the information regarding the registration on the AlmaRM platform and all the requirements related to their virtual exchange DSAI, including timetables and support provided by a tutor for the format.
