This Seed Funding Call is the opportunity to embark on an intercontinental research partnership. Professors and researchers at the University of Bologna who already have relationships with African universities or wish to strengthen them are the target audience for this initiative.
The Seed Funding Call will support joint projects in education, research and innovation, and societal outreach across Una Europa's six Focus Areas.
Who can participate
Established academics and early-career researchers from the 11 Una Europa partner universities and the following participating African universities are invited to take part:
A mobility fellowship embedded in the Seed Funding scheme will support an established researcher at one of the participating African universities to bring their expertise to an Una Europa coordinating university in the role of chair. Mobility opportunities are also available to at least three early-career researchers from the chairholder's university.
