The Exhibitions

Heritage of the Dialogue and Ideas Circulation between Universities
This exhibition highlights the long-standing tradition of European universities in sharing knowledge, tools, and research. Through museum objects, it reflects on the continuity between past and present practices — from medieval student mobility to today’s university alliances. European universities have historically contributed to social and economic transformation while remaining culturally independent. The exhibition encourages reflection on how academic collaboration continues to shape Europe’s intellectual and civic life.

Unveiling the Environmental Heritage of University Museums
This exhibition explores how academic research contributes to defining environmental heritage through objects and collections. It presents multiple interpretations of this emerging concept — from legal and policy frameworks to the impact of energy and climate change on material culture. By showcasing interdisciplinary perspectives, the exhibition positions universities as key actors in shaping sustainable and resilient relationships between culture, nature, and society.
