The second group game organised by the Una Europa Student Local Task Force at the University of Bologna
On 18 February 2026, the Una Europa Student Local Task Force at the University of Bologna organised its second collaborative event, an engaging “Undercover Game Night”, following the success of the Beyond Borders Trivia Night held on 11 February.
The initiative welcomed both returning participants and new students, inviting them to spot impostors, bluff strategically and win prizes, all while discovering more about Una Europa opportunities.
The event brought together around 80 students from EU and non-EU countries, creating a lively space for intercultural exchange. Beyond the game itself, the evening encouraged participants to reflect on cultural differences and similarities and, above all, to build meaningful connections within the University of Bologna student community.
The evening also offered participants an opportunity to learn more about Una Europa in an informal and interactive setting. Before the game began, members of the Student Local Task Force introduced the Alliance, its network of 11 European partner universities and the opportunities it offers to students , from mobility programmes to collaborative initiatives.
The introduction created a natural bridge between the game and the broader vision of the Alliance, allowing participants to engage directly with fellow students involved in Una Europa activities and to explore how they can take part at both local and European level
The evening began with a dynamic speed-dating icebreaker. Participants formed inner and outer circles and answered a series of compatibility questions,ranging from celebratory drinks to favourite Una Europa campuses and preferred ways to relax in different Alliance cities. Based on their responses, students were then grouped into teams.
The core of the event was the Undercover Game, structured around themed rounds, Food, Places and University , where teams gave subtle hints connected to Una Europa cities and their typical specialities, while attempting to identify the impostor within their group.
In the final round, the rules shifted. Teams now knew who the impostor was and worked collaboratively to help them guess a hidden word without using forbidden terms. The word was “Mobility”, one of the key pillars of the Una Europa Alliance. This final twist transformed competition into cooperation, reinforcing the value of collaboration that lies at the heart of Una Europa.
The evening concluded with the awarding of the winning team, the fastest in helping the impostor guess the word, and with group photos capturing a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere.
