 Focus of the 2025 edition

The 2025 Student Congress focuses on the diversity of student initiatives across our alliance, highlighting the richness of local practices and their impact on university communities. The interactive programme will also explore skills fundamental to effective student engagement and actions that can be scaled up to strengthen connections between students across our partner universities.

Participants will be invited to reflect on three guiding questions:

  • What does student engagement truly mean, and what impact does it have on universities and society at large?
  • How can we better understand and build on the variety of student initiatives within Una Europa to develop and share best practices?
  • How can Una Europa foster cross-border collaboration and create stronger connections between local student communities and partner universities?

The programme will combine plenary sessions with small group workshops, enriched by cultural activities and informal meetups.

What is the Una Europa Student Congress?

The Student Congress is the annual event that brings together students from all Una Europa universities to discuss themes that matter to our communities. It is a unique opportunity to connect with peers from across Europe while engaging in critical thinking and creative problem-solving, working together to shape our vision for a truly European University of the Future.

Each year, a different Una Europa university hosts the Congress, adding its own cultural and social dimension to the programme.

 This year’s host: Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne
