Martina Gregori

Hello everyone! I'm Martina, and I work as an accountant at the University of Bologna. My role involves managing finances and ensuring accurate accounting for the various departments of the university.

What prompted you to participate in the Live My Life programme?

I decided to participate in the Live My Life programme for several reasons. Firstly, I wanted to improve my English. Additionally, I desired to meet new people, immerse myself in a new culture, and explore a country different from my own.

What was the most significant or memorable moment you experienced during the programme?

The most memorable moment was when I experienced the traditional Finnish sauna. It was a moment of relaxation and bonding with local people, allowing me to fully immerse myself in Finnish culture.

What has this experience taught you and how do you think it will influence your future work?

This experience has taught me the importance of being open to new experiences and flexible in the face of challenges. I believe this open-mindedness will help me in my future work by enabling me to tackle situations more creatively and effectively.

Finally, what advice would you give to other professionals who wish to participate in similar experiences?

My advice is to seize every opportunity to explore new places and cultures. Participating in programs like Live My Life is a unique experience that offers numerous personal and professional benefits. Be open to experiences and ready to learn from every situation that comes your way.
