On 23 October, the Una Europa Student Local Task Force at the University of Bologna represented the European Alliance during the student welcome initiative Alma Mater Fest, which took place in Bologna from 21 to 23 October.
The event organised by the Student Local Task Force was titled Una EuroQuiz: Fun Facts, United Minds and consisted of two engaging parts.
The first segment featured an exciting online quiz that tested the audience's knowledge of the alliance universities.
The event showcased the international dimension of the University of Bologna’s student community, with participants coming from various European countries, including France, Lithuania, and Hungary, as well as from outside Europe, notably Pakistan, Turkey, Hong Kong, and Russia. All participants competed fiercely, testing each other in a lively competition that allowed them to learn about significant historical events and intriguing anecdotes related to universities across Europe and their cities or countries.
Students challenged each other to the final click with questions ranging from superstitions surrounding exams and graduations to inquiries about the most famous alumni from their respective universities.
The second part of the event featured a guided tour of the European Student Museum (MEUS) of the University of Bologna, dedicated to the history of university students in Europe.
Local task force members Angelica, Samanta, and Sara led participants on an engaging journey through student life, exploring not only academic experiences but also social and cultural aspects. They highlighted daily routines, student movements, and the evolving role of students in society.
This event provided an excellent opportunity to learn about Una Europa and allowed participants to connect directly with students actively involved in the Alliance
