LTF People

Cecilia Isidori (Co-Chair)

I’m a Law student at the University of Bologna, where I serve as a student representative in both the Academic Senate and the Student Council. Deeply committed to social activism, I focus my efforts on civil rights and fostering inclusivity. To me, Una Europa is a vital networking opportunity for bridging nations and generations. It allows me to engage with diverse cultures and build meaningful connections within the university space, collaborating with passionate young people who share my vision for a united European academic community.

Sara Melindi (Co-Chair)

Hi! I’m a Master student in Economics and Econometrics (LMEC) and currently Co-Chair of the UniBo LTF and designated Una Europa Student Board member. I first joined Una Europa during my second year of Bachelor at UniBo and I had the opportunity to participate to the 2024 Student Congress in Berlin as an LTF member. Una Europa has given me the chance to meet people from all over Europe, to contribute to student-led projects and to step out of my comfort zone. To me ,Una Europa means being part of a community based on cooperation, connection and solidarity. I am looking forward to the upcoming activities and to continue contributing to the development of the alliance.

Regina Barazorda Bazán

My name is Regina Barazorda Bazán, and I am a Peruvian student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Social and Cultural Education.

Through my academic journey, I have developed a strong belief in education as a powerful tool for social transformation.

I joined Una Europa because it inspires me to collaborate with students from diverse backgrounds and to actively contribute to a more inclusive and connected Europe. Being part of this alliance allows me to grow personally and academically in a multicultural environment, while working together to imagine innovative and meaningful educational futures.

Kate Lorenza Bisogno

My name is Kate, and I am a Master’s student in International Relations. I am Irish-Italian and grew up in Ireland. To me, Una Europa symbolises collaborative academic culture at a European level. I joined Una Europa in the hopes of making a meaningful contribution to its initiatives while working with and learning from like-minded people.

Letizia Boscolo

I’m Letizia Boscolo, I study International Politics and Economics with a background in political science. European affairs have always interested me, which is why I’ve joined Una Europa: I believe in building Europe from the grassroots up, not only through its institutions.

Una Europa pushed me out of my comfort zone, it also taught me how diversity within a team can foster creativity and lead to more balanced and innovative solutions.

Emelie Catalano

Hi everyone! My name is Emelie, and I am a 21-year-old Master’s student in Legal Studies at the University of Bologna, with a particular academic interest in international and human rights law. I previously completed the Una Europa Joint Bachelor’s in European Studies as part of its first cohort, an experience that allowed me to study at three Alliance universities and develop a close connection with the Una Europa community.

Building on this academic and personal experience, I joined the Local Task Force Communication Team this year. Through this role, I hope to connect with students beyond my faculty, exchange ideas across disciplines and cultures, and actively contribute to this shared European student project and community

Alessia Fabbri

My name is Alessia Fabbri, I am a 23-year-old student from Italy and I am currently attending the first year of the MA in Data, Methods and Theoretical Models for Linguistics. I love hiking and cooking, but my greatest passions are languages and foreign cultures. Being part of Una Europa gives me the opportunity to turn these interests into concrete international engagement by collaborating in joint educational activities that strengthen international networks and foster the creation of a borderless European academic environment.

Angelica Mattevi

Hey! I’m Angelica, a 22-year-old student in the first year of the Master’s programme in Legal Studies, with a strong interest in international law and public policy. I have recently graduated from the first cohort of the Una Europa Bachelor of Arts in European Studies, through which I got to know Una Europa from the inside. I have already been involved in the Una Europa Local Task Force in Leuven as Communications and Connections Manager, and I participated in the Una Europa Student Congress in Paris in November 2025. Joining the Local Task Force in the Communication Team means for me contributing concretely to the development of a strong and engaged European student community.

Demir Özgüroğlu

Ciao! I’m Demir Özgüroğlu, an international student from Türkiye and a second-year Economics, Politics and Social Sciences (EPOS) student at UNIBO. I joined Una Europa because I didn't want my education to be limited to just one city. I wanted to be part of a massive network of historic universities across the continent. To me, Una Europa means having a campus that stretches far beyond Bologna, spanning from Helsinki to Madrid. It is the freedom to access different academic traditions and feel at home in multiple institutions at once.

Daniele Scafidi

I am Daniele, a student at the University of Bologna, currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in “Political, Social, and International Studies”. I have always been passionate about global engagement and cross-cultural collaboration. My academic and personal path has been shaped by strong international experiences, including a meaningful exchange in the United States and ongoing mobility in Europe, as well as several work experiences abroad in highly multicultural settings. These opportunities have strengthened my interest in cultural exchange, education, and European integration, besides my commitment to student representation and international cooperation.

To me, Una Europa represents a shared European space where students can learn across borders, exchange perspectives, and actively contribute to building a more connected, inclusive, and globally engaged university community.

Carolina Zini

Hi! I’m Carolina, a 22 years old Italian student currently pursuing a Master in Legal Studies for Economics and Finance. I discovered Una Europa thanks my Bachelor’s in European Studies and became actively involved in my second year while in Leuven, contributing to the local task force, taking part in the Student Congress 2024 in Berlin, and later serving as a project manager. Today, I’m continuing this journey as a member of the Bologna LTF. What I’m most excited  about is to be part of a community of open-minded students shaping the future of the university through meaningful projects.
