Hello everyone! I'm Margit, representing the University of Helsinki. I've been fortunate to spend some time at the University of Bologna, getting to know new colleagues and immersing myself in the local atmosphere. I joined Una Europa's "Live My Life" program to expand my network here in Italy, and it's been a fantastic experience. I've met extraordinary people and attended truly interesting presentations during my stay here.
What is your role at the University of Helsinki and how do you think this experience will influence your future work?
At my university, I work in staff development, with a focus on teaching and learning services. During my time in Bologna, I've gathered many interesting ideas that I'm eager to bring back to my university. I believe this experience will enrich my approach to work and provide me with new perspectives to enhance the services offered to our faculty and students.
What advice would you give to other professionals who wish to participate in similar experiences?
I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity to be here, and I hope others have the chance to participate in similar experiences in the future. Una Europa's "Live My Life" program offers an incredible opportunity for personal and professional growth, as well as fostering intercultural exchange and collaboration between academic institutions. My advice is to seize every opportunity to explore new horizons and embrace new experiences.
