Live My Life 2025 — Call for Participation

Are you a professional staff member at one of the Una Europa universities? Do you work in human resources, financial services, career services, public engagement, continuing education, language centres, knowledge transfer, PhD support or library services?

Live My Life 2025 offers you the opportunity to participate in an international job shadowing experience at another Una Europa partner university.

What is Live My Life?

Live My Life is a Una Europa programme designed to connect administrative staff through peer-to-peer learning and short-term mobility. Participants will engage in a week-long job shadowing exchange, share professional practices, and strengthen transnational collaboration within the Una Europa network.

Who can apply?

The programme is open to non-academic staff working in the administrative, technical, or managerial services of Una Europa universities. Each annual edition focuses on selected professional areas. The 2025 edition targets those working in human resources, financial services, student placement, public engagement, continuing education, language centres, knowledge transfer, PhD services, and library services.

Programme structure and timeline

The programme begins in October 2025 with three online preparatory sessions, followed by job shadowing visits of 3 to 5 days between November 2025 and April 2026. A final online wrap-up session will conclude the programme.

Participants may apply individually or as a tandem with a colleague from another Una Europa university. In the case of individual applications, the organising team will propose a compatible match.

How to apply?

Applications are open from 14 May to 16 June 2025. Applicants must complete an online form describing their current role, main responsibilities, motivation for participating, and—if applying in tandem—the details of their proposed peer.

Selection is based on compatibility between candidates’ roles and interests, not on merit. Each university will fund at least two participants, with the possibility of supporting additional staff depending on available resources.

Sustainability and inclusion

Una Europa is committed to sustainable mobility and encourages the use of eco-friendly travel options. The programme also promotes diversity, equal opportunities, and inclusion at every stage of application and participation.
