Hi everyone! I'm Hersh and I work at University College Dublin as a finance system manager.
What made you want to participate in UNA Europa's Live My Life programme?
When I heard about the Live My Life programme, I decided I wanted to participate because I wanted to gain knowledge for both myself and my team about how different universities work and how they manage their systems.
What were your main experiences during the programme?
I had several meetings with different departments to better understand the financial aspect. Martina was absolutely fantastic in showing us as much as possible of the University of Bologna . My Italian is not good at all, so she also helped us a lot with translations and dialogue with colleagues.
In particular, I really liked the financial system team at the University of Bologna. Samantha and her team were absolutely great. They showed us what software they use and how we can incorporate that software into UCD and improve our systems.
Overall, it was a very positive experience and I learnt a lot.
