The University of Bologna and Una Europa are delighted to invite you to the ImprovEUorGlobe International Workshop, which will be held on 3 July (2 - 6.30 PM) and 4 July (9 AM - 6 PM) both in person in Bologna and online.

This international workshop will be the culminating event of the seed funded ImprovEUorGlobe project and will comprise several panels with experts in the field. The panels include:

  • Sustainable Development, Trade and Investments
  • Sustainable Development and EU Free Trade Agreements
  • Sustainable Development and Private Actors
  • Sustainable Development, Climate Change and the Rights of Nature
  • Human Rights and Cultural Heritage in Trade and Investments
  • Sustainable Development and EU Trade and Regulatory Policy

ImprovEUorGlobe is a Seed Funding Project supported by the Una Europa alliance. Its mission is to provide a critical interdisciplinary overview and analysis of the SDGs oriented EU trade policy. The aim is to continuously emphasize the importance of civil society's participation in shaping and implementing the EU trade policy and tools. Additionally, it strives to highlight the EU's ability to play a significant and influential role in the international political debate, advocating for sustainability values in international relations.
