Information entropy and mass spectroscopy of meson resonances in AdS/QCD duality

The mass spectroscopy of several families of meson resonances, including tensor mesons, is scruti-nized in the AdS/QCD paradigm, using information entropy. Informational Regge-like trajectoriescan probe new physical features of heavier meson resonances with higher excitation numbers. Thisapproach unites AdS/CFT techniques and the experimental mass spectra of already detected mesonfamilies in the Particle Data Group. It provides a hybrid method for exploring the physical prop-erties of the next generation of meson resonances. I also digress about the most prominent resultsand main techniques on information entropy, recently introduced in the literature [1–7].
