We are a team of community psychologists with a solid academic education that, thanks to our mentor Bruna Zani, has developed operative and research interests on the Service-Learning (S-L) methodology. We have been attracted by the possibility to integrate research, intervention, and community development. We are also fascinated by the idea of establishing solid university-community partnerships, bringing innovation both in the academic education, and in social settings we deal with.
We believe that the values of our discipline can positively “contaminate” other disciplines through the S-L, implementing learning spaces capable of valuing resources and competencies (often implicit) of different actors (students, faculties, partners, and community members).
