Main research activities/topics/projects

The architectural technology team is involved in several national and international projects dealing with energy efficiency, carbon neutral transition and climate responsive solutions to improve the quality of the built environment. The team involves Professors, post-docs (3-4) and PhDs (5-8) working in a cooperative and stimulating environment. The forthcoming topics of research are related to cross-scale and transdisciplinary approach to carbon neutral cities; end users’ behavioural implications in energy efficiency; LCA approaches influencing the design requirements and processes.

The team works both in Bologna and Cesena (where the offices and lab are located) cities.

Working language

Working language is English (B2 level; C1 preferred) among the team members, but Italian is sometime needed to discuss with local partners and institutions.
