The MOBILITY CONFAP ITALY CALL 2023 is published in the CONFAP website. The call describes the eligibility requirements and selection procedure. CONFAP is responsible for selecting the candidates and awarding the scholarship.

In their application package, the Brazilian candidates must include a letter of support provided by a research group/supervisor of an Italian University that is part of the MCI Network of Italian Universities. In order to get the letter, the candidates have to make contact with one of the Italian Universities sharing his/her academic interests (see RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES IN ITALY). In order to receive the letter, the Brazilian candidates must be ready to justify their research interests and motivation through getting in contact with the Italian research groups.
The Network of Italian Universities considers eligible the Master/PhD/Post Doc candidate if a valid letter of support has been released.
The candidate holding a letter of support can apply to CONFAP for a scholarship. The candidate must submit the documentation required by CONFAP and must satisfy the eligibility criteria of CONFAP.

Language proficiency level required for each mobility will be published in the research opportunity offer. In the majority of cases, English will be the language required.
According to the CONFAP requirements, the mobility period may range from 2 to 12 months.
Candidates can take advantage of the wide offer of facilities for international researchers/doctorate students provided by each host University: library and documentary services providing support for studies, teaching, research, professional and cultural activities. They will have access to rooms, study facilities, libraries, laboratories and any other service like any international researcher/doctorate student.
All practical details concerning the mobility period as well as certificates needed should be discussed with the host University.
The grant holder must comply with the legal requirements, in term of insurance and immigration (visa, etc.) of the host country and University.
Master students, Sandwich PhD and Post Doc will not pay any fee for the mobility period.
