Main research activities/topics/projects

The prospective candidate has a strong interest in supply chain management and new product development for industrial OEM projects as well as in solutions on large-scale digital transformation projects for the furniture manufacturing industry. The candidate should develop a decision support system aiming at product portfolio optimization and the relationships with different business planning levels and dimensions, mainly focusing in the furniture industry.

Working language

It is essential for the candidate to be fluent in English, as all interactions will be conducted in such language.

Special entry requirements

The candidate should possess advanced computational and mathematical modelling skills. Additionally, having at least intermediate-level proficiency in simulation would be beneficial, although it is not initially mandatory for the position.
