Main research activities/topics/projects

The prospective candidate has a strong interest in renewable energy within industrial supply chains, including but not limited to the automotive sector. His goal is to develop two models to support decision-making in the transition process from fossil fuels to green hydrogen.

The first model incorporates various multicriteria approaches, such as AHP, Promethee, Electre, among others. Its primary objective is to identify the most promising supply chain entities in terms of energy consumption reduction. The second model employs optimisation techniques to identify and optimize routes and inventories in subnetworks within the supply chain. This optimization objective considers not only the cost of replacement and fuel availability but also the environmental impact and green performance of the supply chain.

Working language

It is essential for the candidate to be fluent in English as all interactions will be conducted in English.

Special entry requirements

The candidate should possess advanced computational and mathematical modelling skills. Additionally, having at least intermediate-level proficiency in simulation would be beneficial, although it is not initially mandatory for the position.
