The project aims to develop and test an ecodesign for AM (Additive Manufacturing) methodology. It will be based on a holistic view of the product life cycle by considering design, technological and sustainability requirements. This result will allow designers to evaluate if and when AM could represent environmentally and economically advantageous technologies from a product life cycle perspective. The methodology will create a repository of ecodesign for AM guidelines which designers will use to drive and support the engineering design activities.
