Main research activities/topics/projects

The research opportunity will be dedicated to study the Life Cycle Assessment methodology applied to the circular economy projects, in case of new recycling processes, new recycled materials, and minimization of waste production at industrial level. During the research period, Life Cycle Costing and Social Life Cycle Assessment will be also used to quantify the economic and social sustainability of circular projects. Industrial sectors in which the research could be applied are, for example, automotive, wood furniture, transport, energy.

Lab Experience: Life Cycie Assessment, Life Cycle Costing and Social LCA, both in theory and in practice

Computer skills: SimaPro and/or OpenLCA softwares
