The purpose of the research is to deal with probabilistic optimal power flow in applications that include renewable energy sources and electric vehicles. The objective is to simulate the behaviour of electric transmission and distribution networks in the presence of unpredictable loads and generation and in the presence of uncertainty. The networks can then also be optimized through machine learning or reinforcement learning algorithms.
