The BIM Building Information Modeling method has become more and more popular in the last years. A new object oriented 3D approach in order to model and simulate the design the construction and the management of architectural and engineering opera. This research is at the state of the art internationally thanks to the benefits that BIM offer for the construction world worldwide. Design Studios, Industries, Construction Companies, Public Institution requires more and more experts in this knowledge field. In this frame, the prospective PhD student/Post Doc will perform high level software applications simulating different types of real works process in a real construction world with a lot of contacts with real professional people of the field. The aim is to deep the understanding providing practitioners with useful design tools and methods along the process-product. In addition the research program uses augmented reality, laser scan and 3D printing too. The fields of research are civil Engineering and/or Architecture. The working language is English and/or Italian. In addition the program allows to be part of the research supporting on of the most popular and important post graduate program in Italy about BIM, offered by the local research team.
