The primary research activities will delve into advanced topics in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Information Fusion. Our team investigates cutting-edge AI methodologies—such as machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing—to develop intelligent systems capable of autonomous decision-making and sophisticated pattern recognition. In Information Fusion, our research focuses on integrating data from diverse sources to improve the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of information processing systems. Brazilian PhD candidates will have the unique opportunity to collaborate within the LAIF laboratory (laif.uniud.it) on interdisciplinary projects, driving innovation in AI- powered information systems and their applications inareas such as healthcare, security, and autonomous technologies.
