The MEMOREC project database provides demographic information integrated with spatiotemporal series of meteorological and environmental data for all municipalities in the Emilia-Romagna region.
The "EcoPop_ER" database of the MEMOREC project is an integrated resource, providing information on all municipalities in the Emilia-Romagna region. It includes monthly time series data from the past twenty years, sourced from a variety of statistical, demographic, and environmental sources. Demographic data is combined with spatiotemporal series of meteorological data and regional geographic characteristics.
The MEMOREC project database adheres to Open Data standards, having been designed and built according to FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). It serves as a valuable tool for monitoring the sociodemographic impact of climate change on the regional population. Accessible to researchers, scholars, institutions, and citizens, it facilitates the monitoring and evaluation of climate resilience policies, contributing to the development of adaptive strategies for local communities.
