Workshop on Legislative Techniques for Drafting a 'Model' Law on the Rights of Nature

The University of Trieste, Department of Political and Social Sciences, is organizing a two-day workshop on normative techniques for drafting a 'model' law on the rights of nature. The event will take place on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, in Room 420, 4th floor, Building A, at the University of Trieste.

The seminar will be introduced by Prof. Serena Baldin, Associate Professor of Comparative Public Law at the University of Trieste, who will address the topic of the circulation of the rights of nature from Latin America to Europe.

Following this, participants will engage in a practical workshop to draft a 'model' law on the rights of nature. The event is part of the LUMEN project.
