Roberto Louvin, a member of the LUMEN research unit at the University of Trieste, will be one of the speakers at the conference "The Rights of Plants" with a presentation titled “From Human Rights to Plant Rights: Meaning and Paths of Inclusive Legal Personification,” exploring the legal recognition of plants and their importance in environmental discourse, in line with the interests of the LUMEN project.

The event, organized by GEA Green Economy and Agriculture at its location in Pistoia, will take place on October 11, 2024, and will serve as a day of dialogue among different disciplines, focusing on the rights of the environment and nature, featuring expert presentations on various aspects of plant rights, aiming to promote greater awareness and discussion on these fundamental issues.
