Silvia Bagni, coordinator of the LUMEN project, along with Amilcare D'Andrea and Marc Brightman from the University of Bologna Research Unit, participated in a CLIMAVORE project event at the Museo delle Civiltà in Rome on November 9, focused on "Cultivating Seed Rights."
The event featured short presentations, including one from Bagni on the LUMEN project, followed by roundtables with farmers to discuss strategies for protecting and sharing local seeds.
Topics included nature rights and an ecosystem approach as new perspectives to address seed circulation issues among small farmers.
