The IV International Conference on the Rights of Nature in the Mediterranean: Ecological Policies in the Context of Globalization, organized by the Democracia+ research group at the Universitat de València, will be held on July 3-4, 2025, in a hybrid format at the University of Valencia, Faculty of Law.

This event represents an important opportunity for reflection, focusing on current debates surrounding the fight against climate change through ecological policies in the context of globalization. Special attention will be given to the development of diagnoses and solutions from the perspectives of law, economics, and the social sciences.

Aligned with the themes explored by the LUMEN project, the conference emphasizes Earth Jurisprudence, an innovative framework addressing the rights of nature and legal solutions to promote sustainability in the Mediterranean and beyond.

Abstract submissions are due by February 25, 2025.
