A European project that scales up the reuse and recycling of large household appliances, turning end-of-life washing machines into resources instead of waste.
LIFE Phoenix WEEE develops and validates an innovative industrial line to recover, repair and prepare for reuse end-of-life washing machines. By combining advanced separation technologies, repair activities and new sales channels for refurbished appliances and spare parts, the project supports the transition from traditional recycling to a true circular economy model.
