The TrainingLAB “Reduction, management and valorisation of food losses and waste in Latin America” that will take place in Dominican Republic from February 13th to February 17th 2023, will aim to enable the students that participated to the LatinLAB Chellenge to further develop their projects, deepening the topics of reduction and/or valorization of food losses and waste, and of optimization of food production and cultivation inputs.
The course will be structured to be interactive and with a concrete final objective related to the participants' project ideas. In order to facilitate these objectives, participants will be supported in their learning journey with mentoring sessions. Furthermore, the TrainingLAB will not only bring students into the heart of the topic, but will also provide opportunities for exchange and discussion with experts and among peers. Participants will be engaged in a final pitch competition where the different project proposals will be presented.
The three best proposals will be awarded with the opportunity to participate in a study visit in Emilia Romagna (Italy).
