About us

The Animal Reproduction and Biotechnology Laboratory (LRBA) offers services both in assisted reproduction (ovum pick-up, ICSI, in vitro embryos, embryo transfer) and regenerative therapy in domestic animals (horse, cattle, dog, cat) . The laboratory is ISO 9001 certified and has been accredited as an Embryo Collection Group and Embryo Production Center (BO 006C) and authorized for storage semen and embryos for bovine-equine-pig-small ruminants (BO 0208R).

Over 15 years of experience in assisted reproduction and stem cells in domestic animals. Graduated in Veterinary Medicine in 2001 at the University of Bologna (thesis title: "Applications of follicular transvaginal ultrasound-guided aspiration in the mare"), in the same location she was holder of a research grant (project title: "Assisted reproduction in equine and bovine") and in 2007 she received the PhD degree (PhD thesis title: "Possibility of improving assisted reproduction techniques in domestic animals"). In 2011 she obtained the Diploma of the European College of Animal Reproduction (ECAR) Sub-specialty Biotechnology.

Over 15 years of experience in assisted reproduction and stem cells in domestic animals. Graduated in Veterinary Medicine in 2002 at the University of Bologna (thesis title: "In vitro embryo production in the bovine species"), in the same place she was research fellow (project title: "New aspects of superovulation and embryo conservation in the field of embryonic transplantation in domestic animals ") and in 2010 she received the PhD degree (PhD thesis title:" Mesenchymal stem cells in veterinary medicine "). Resindet of the European College of Animal Reproduction (ECAR) Sub-speciality Biotechnology.
