Have you ever thought about how you navigate the world? It's more complex than you might imagine! Our ability to find our way relies on intricate brain activity. Dr. Iaria has been studying this fascinating topic in healthy individuals, patients with various clinical conditions, and NASA astronauts. In this lecture, he'll share his groundbreaking research, explaining how our brain processes different types of information and employs various strategies for orientation. He will also discuss individuals who lack spatial orientation skills, and explore how exposure to microgravity affects the brain of astronauts.
