Jordi Ballester i Gibert

With deepest sadness and regret we announce the loss of our dear colleague Jordi Ballester i Gibert (1963-2023).
Professor of Musicology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and past president of the Societat Catalana de Musicologia, Jordi Ballester had been a pioneer of music iconography in Catalonia and an estimated fellow member of our IMS Study Group 'Musical Iconography' since its foundation.

The steering committee and all the members of the Study Group send their sincerest condolences to his family and friends.
