We study and develop processes for laser surface hardening, surface tempering and laser peening
In these areas, through PhDs and collaborations with companies, we have developed original and optimised process solutions, compared to the state of the art. We have developed original process simulation models that have contributed to the creation of a university spin-off called Nextema srl.
Lately, we have been focusing on coating processes, using powders and laser sources, of mechanical products in order to maximise the surface characteristics of components.
