Long involved in the development of grinding processes applied to gears for the automotive sector
On this subject, through two PhDs, we develop predictive process models capable of predefining the influence of grinding parameters on the microstructure and surface integrity of machined flanks. We have a gear pitting test machine in our laboratories.
We have also started to deal with the grinding of permanent magnets for electric motors (again for automotive use), and have also started a new PhD Automotive Engineering for Intelligent Mobility on this subject.
