Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow
Assistant Professor, SSD ICAR/01 Hydraulics, at the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental, and Materials Engineering (DICAM), University of Bologna.
His research activity is addressed to the study of the fluid mechanics of geological media. The activity involves the analysis of the flow of complex fluids (e.g., foams, polymeric solutions, muds) and transport phenomena(e.g., heat or contaminats) in fractured porous media. Numerical modeling in a stochastic framwork is mainly adopted to investigate novel approaches to enhance geothermal energy exploitation, oil and gas recovery, and reclamation techniques.
