Peer Review Visit: Food Crossing District si presenta a TRIS Project

L'innovazione di Food Crossing District (FCD) è tra i protagonisti della Peer Review Visit – TRIS Project, l'evento legato alla simbiosi industriale che ha luogo a Bologna il 29 e 30 marzo 2017. La professoressa Tullia Gallina Toschi, coordinatrice di FCD, introdurrà il progetto in occasione della presentazione di buone pratiche e progetti regionali. The project aims at developing two valorization value chains for byproducts of the tomato and grain industry. The project involves two large companies located in Emilia-Romagna, Barilla and ARP Tomato/Consorzio Casalasco

The project aims at realize a feasibility study for the implementation of a cloud platform to exchange scraps resulting from the metal and chemicals value chains.

Storm – EIT KIC Raw Materials
The project objective is to implement a long term self-sustainable excellence network dedicated to provide services to external customers for the implementation of innovative, sustainable business and cooperation model solutions for the all-round recycling and/or exploitation of raw materials from end of life complex products with more attention for secondary products.

Il progetto Interreg Europe TRIS (Transition Regions Towards Industrial Symbiosis) supporta le organizzazioni partecipanti nello sviluppo di attività che aumentino l’efficienza d’uso delle risorse e la competitività delle PMI, introducendo pratiche di Simbiosi Industriale (SI) nelle regioni coinvolte dal progetto. Si tratta di una iniziativa della durata di 5 anni (2016 – 2021) che vede come partner, oltre alla Regione Emilia-Romagna e ASTER, le regioni del West Midlands, Comunidad Valenciana, South Sweden e Central Hungary.

Obiettivo del progetto, in piena coerenza con le politiche regionali di gestione dei rifiuti, è favorire l’adozione di pratiche di SI mirate al riuso dei sottoprodotti e alla riduzione della produzione di rifiuti da processi industriali. Tale obiettivo sarà perseguito attraverso l’identificazione, nelle diverse regioni Europee, di buone pratiche utili a ridurre le barriere e rafforzare le condizioni abilitanti all’applicazione della SI.
