Youth representation at the local and regional level

Too often, the topic of youth is handled as something only looking towards the future. However, young people across Europe could actively contribute to their society’s development and must be represented appropriately. This session will focus on engaging and representing youth in cities and regions. From allowing young people access to political positions to engaging youth in the democratic process, it will highlight the opportunities and challenges in ensuring that EU youth is represented at all levels of governance.
