Model European Union: a tool for civic engagement?

Can Model European Union simulations pave the way for an increase in civic engagement of the European youth? This is the main question around which this “Late Night Show”- style debate will revolve. The unique environment that comes into play during this simulation event encourages each participant to come out of their shell and step out of their comfort zone and to enhance their skills. Could EU simulations be considered as a valuable stepping stone for the next generation of EU MEPs?
