RADICI

The project consists of creating an infrastructure for the aggregation and digitization of assets to promote interaction with the cultural and creative industries sector.

RADICI aims to create an aggregation and service infrastructure for the dynamic integration of archives and collections related to regional cultural heritage (CH) in order to increase their use in digitized form by the ICC-Cultural and Creative Industries sector (publishing, audiovisual, design/architecture). The tools and services will be provided through a Competence Shop to enable ICCs, public/private entities linked to CH, researchers, and cultural operators to exploit integrated digital resources to produce new cultural products and value, and to promote interaction between data producers and consumers. The infrastructure is a tool supporting the National Plan for the Digitization of Cultural Heritage (PND), in synergy with the regional ICC HUB in order to produce new opportunities related to the cultural and creative context. The collaboration between the High Technology Network centers (CRICC, CIRI-ICT, DHMoRe, CICCREI) and the Study Center and Archive for Communication (CSAC) triggers modular supply chain processes for new experiences in the use, exploitation, and enhancement of tangible and intangible heritage, speed of access, understanding, and the growth of skills and future skills related to CH.
