The course
The course trains experts capable of contributing effectively to the activities of international organizations, NGOs, public and private entities involved in conflict management and peace promotion.
The course offers specialized training in conflict analysis and transformation, as well as peacebuilding. In a global context marked by a high number of armed conflicts, this course responds to the growing demand for professionals capable of working in crisis areas, contributing to peace processes at multiple levels.
Through a theoretical and practical approach, the program delves into tools and methodologies to understand conflict dynamics, design sustainable interventions, and contribute to the construction of reconciliation processes and lasting democratic institutions.
Special attention is given to regions with major armed conflicts in East Asia, Eurasia, the Middle East, and sub-Saharan Africa, where the application of aspects such as monitoring, evaluation, and strategic planning of peacebuilding projects will allow participants to gain practical skills and competences.
In collaboration with the Agency for Peacebuilding, the first Italian organization specialized in the sector, the course integrates lectures, case studies, and project work in collaboration with external parties working in the conflict transformation and peacebuilding field. This course provides a training opportunity for those individuals who wish to acquire theoretical and practical skills applicable in the fields of international cooperation, conflict management, and crisis areas.
