By the end of the course, participants will have acquired analytical, design, and operational skills to work in conflict and post-conflict environments. They will be able to interpret crisis scenarios with a conflict-sensitive and gender-sensitive approach, propose interventions in line with best international practices, and assess their social and political impact.
They will also develop specific abilities to:
• Analyze the structural causes of conflicts and changes in the international system;
• Design and implement peacebuilding interventions aimed at activating non-violent transformation dynamics;
• Monitor and evaluate cooperation and development projects in fragile areas;
• Operate with awareness of the opportunities, risks and challenges associated with democratic transitions in post-war contexts.
