Federico Bellisardi

Researcher

Theoretical physicist with an academic background from the University of Bologna. He has held visiting positions at IFISC (Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems), the University of Zaragoza, and San Jorge University (Zaragoza), where he collaborated on interdisciplinary research projects.

His research interests span complex systems, urban mobility, and data analysis. Key projects include:

Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs): Developing a model to simulate and predict traffic flows on graphs using limited datasets.

Pedestrian Flow Analysis: Collaborating with A4 Smart and CISET to analyze pedestrian movement in Venice using sensor data.

Decision Support Systems: Working with the Emilia-Romagna Region to develop a platform for traffic management based on physico-mathematical models, cartographic simplification algorithms, and real-time data acquisition.
