 The Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna, in order to honour the memory of Elena Violani Landi, poet and patron of the University, establishes a poetry award in four categories, whose evaluation is assigned to the Board Members of the Centre for Contemporary Poetry:

• VIOLANI LANDI INTERNATIONAL POETRY AWARD

to a foreign poet who has distinguished him/herself in terms of the quality of their work

• VIOLANI LANDI LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

to an Italian poet who has distinguished him/herself in terms of the quality of their work

• DEBUT WORK AWARD

to debutant poets, reserved to the best first work published in the period specified in the call text

• UNPUBLISHED POETS AWARD

to poets whose age is 25 or less by the call’s deadline, who participate with a 15-20 poem collection
