With a microscope equipped with filters for DAPI, GFP, RFP, TRITC, and CY5, plan apochromatic and semi-apochromatic objectives, a top-stage incubator for time-lapse, a CMOS camera, a motorized XY stage, and cellSens™S software with AI, a wide range of advanced analyses can be performed. These include live cell observations, multicolor fluorescent imaging, time-lapse monitoring of cellular dynamics, and high-resolution analysis in brightfield and fluorescence. The software also allows for automated quantitative analysis, such as cell counting and measurement of morphological parameters. This microscope is ideal for advanced experiments in cell biology, biomedicine, and preclinical research.
Modes of Use: The equipment is available for service within the University, with the option for users to access it in the following modes:
Self-Service: direct and independent use of the equipment by authorized internal users. Internal user collaborators and training users (Art. 1, paragraph 1, letter e) may access the equipment in Self-Service mode under the direct responsibility of authorized internal users.
Service with Technical Assistance: users not authorized for Self-Service use, internal user collaborators, and training users may use the equipment with assistance from a technical specialist. The continuous and non-occasional presence of external users at University facilities is permitted only if these individuals are properly insured against the risk of accidents and occupational diseases, as well as third-party damages (including the University) arising from civil liability, with formal proof of this provided to the facility.
Full-Service: a technical specialist provides the requested service to the user, without the user’s direct intervention in operating the instrument.
