SPORT ACTIVITY

Beside the practice of one of the specialized physical activity protocols for people with diabetes, every six month we will evaluate physiological parameters indicative of health. We will evaluate motor and postural control, blood pressure and heart rate, the parameters related to the execution of movements to quantify how the constant practice of physical exercise is improving your health. The subjects who participates in the project will chose one of three types of physical activity: 1) activity in a gym, 2) swimming activity, 3) walking activity. Training plans are drawn up and supervised by qualified instructors trained in exercise protocols suitable for people with diabetes.

SWIMMING

This activity can be done either by following an instructor-led course or by following a personalized free swimming program

ACTIVITIES IN GYM

Personalized training programs followed by a qualified instructor.

WALKING GROUPS

 This activity is carried out outdoors in a group with the trainer.
