UNIBO-ECUADOR: a cooperation programme in the field of in vitro and in vivo research on the effects of phytoextracts in Veterinary Medicine

A series of joint lectures with Italian and Ecuadorian professors and students on project topics

The project aims to promote evidence-based research in the use of phytotherapies in veterinary medicine with reference to natural biodiversity and the use of traditional medicine in Ecuador.

The three universities involved are UNIBO, ESPOCH, UTA. The universities have been collaborating on these research areas for some time, have promoted exchanges between doctoral students and contributed to the development of a specific master's degree.

By pooling their expertise, they will promote the application of advanced research methods, also based on the application of alternative methods to the use of animals in research.
