FUTURE DESIGN FOR KNOWLEDGE INNOVATION

There is nothing more physical than knowledge.

When innovating in this field, which is as immaterial as materially present in our lives and necessary for our evolution, design plays a fundamental role as a mediator of knowledge and forerunner of the future. The first International Symposium "Future Design for Knowledge Innovation" in March 2021 conceived and promoted by the Advanced Design Unit of the Department of Architecture UNIBO is an opportunity to launch an international debate on topical issues and relevance related to innovation in knowledge and organizational learning practices.

What will be the new relationship between spaces and learning content? How can technologies change the learning experience? How does the learning dimension shift from the individual to the systemic capability of organizations? How do they change the sense and meaning of learning? These are some of the areas of investigation that the Symposium aims to analyse through a "glocal" mapping of current methods, models and practices related to the evolution of forms, content, processes and learning systems to collect and share significant case studies that will help us interpret emerging trends.

Keynote speakers and interactive workshops will be the hearth of the event that will take place in presence in Bologna in March 2021 and will be preceded by a digital roadshow made of three stages starting in November 2020:

• in November 2020: Broadcasting Learning: production, consumption and innovation of knowledge
• in January 2021: The learning shift. Learning 3.0: from analogue to digital to virtual
• in February 2021: From Corporate Academy to Urban Academy. The city as a knowledge aggregator and innovator.
